Just Spinning

Yesterday was the YMCA spin-a-thon for kids event I participated in.  My team "outSPOKEn" rode our butts off and we were able to raise lots of money for underprivileged kids to attend YMCA camps.  It was such a rewarding experience and I want to thank everyone who helped me out and donated, and thanks to Kev and Wyatt for hanging with me at the gym.

Daddy's Day

This past weekend I was feeling horrible, down with a cold.  Kevin took Wyatt for the day on Saturday so I could rest.  It looks like they had a great time.
Playing in the blocks at SeaWorld.

Outside the shark tank.

And eating lunch at the Fish Market.

What a great day, thanks Kevin!

Coronado Beach Day Ride-Jan 15

It's taken a few days for me to post these pictures, but we have been using our new bikes a lot!  We took the bikes for a short mile ride down to the bay where we caught the Coronado ferry.
Wyatt not wanting to wait patiently in line.

Me and Wyatt on the boat over to Coronado.

Biking around the path in Coronado.

Just hanging with daddy.

Playing around on the beach.  Wow, what a fun day.  We didn't bike all the way to the Hotel Del, but for sure next we'll make it that far!

Disneyland 2011

We had so much fun at Disneyland for Wyatt's birthday, I decided to take him back.  We just went up for four hours, but it was great, there were hardly any people around.

Peeking over top of the Dumbo ride, get ready to fly!

We had to stop at all the bands playing, Wyatt loves to dance with the performers, here we are near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

At California Adventure going to watch the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show, we ran into Handy Manny!

This is about as close Wyatt wanted to get to any characters, Lilo and Stitch.  We were sitting by them for about 10 minutes before he decided to approach.  Since there were no kids around, it was nice he could just take his time warming up to them.

Here we are on It's A Small World ride.  Wyatt loved this ride, his head was on a swivel stick and he could not stop waving his hands.

Wyatt playing with a Buzz Lightyear balloon.

Holiday Bowl Parade

On December 30 Wyatt, me, and James walked down to the bay to watch the "Big Balloon" Holiday Bowl Parade.  Wyatt loved the balloons and we had so much fun.

Mingling with the Washington State cheerleaders.

Christmas In Dallas

For Christmas this year we were able to visit Kevin's brother and his family, and his mom and aunt in Dallas.  One of our first stops was at the 6th Floor Museum, the actual floor where it's said Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK.  The museum was very interesting and after touring the museum and hearing some more facts I think I'm in the conspiracy camp!  Who shot JFK?

Here we are near the grassy knoll.

Wyatt and Caden playing at a park near Laura and Brian's house.

Mimi and the boys.  Looks like its hard to wrangle those two together.

Brian, Kevin, and Stephanie, their cousin.  Stephanie and her family came over to visit us.

Greg and Kevin trying bone marrow at Greg's annual Christmas party.  A few years ago Greg, one of Kevin's friends, decided that since he owned his own business, with no employees, no one was throwing him a Christmas party, so he went ahead and started throwing his own party every year.  This year he moved to Texas so we were still able to attend it, a fun Christmas tradition for us.
Roosevelt High grads at the party.

Caden and Wyatt just happened to have the same Christmas jammies, so cute.

The boys in their Christmas Eve sweater vests, thanks Mimi for the matching sweaters.

Getting ready to go out.

Our delicious Christmas Eve dinner, filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, broccoli, and a salad.

Opening Christmas presents with Caden and Mimi.

Here is a video of Wyatt playing in a tunnel Caden got for Christmas, he loved it!

The boys wresting with Kevin.
I also got the boys matching sweater vests, hilarious, now they have two sets, they'll probably never wear again, maybe we will be able to force them into them again next year.

Wyatt really started taking off over Christmas, now he is full on walking.

Hanging out after all the presents were opened.

We ended up flying home late on Christmas day.  We had such a wonderful time and can't wait for next year.
