Luke's Firsts

I started feeding Luke cereal for the first time a week or so ago, here he is gobbling it up.

And here he is doing a little bouncing in the old bouncer.  Wyatt got a lot of miles out of this bouncer, it looks like Luke will love it too.

Texas Travel

Kevin had his 20 year high school reunion in San Antonio at the end of July.  So the whole family headed out for the trip.
Luke waiting for his first plane ride.

Here they are waiting to take off.  Watch out Texashere we come!

Mimi and Tia met us at the hotel so on Thursday night we were able to meet up with some friends for dinner.  Unfortunately Luke refused to take a bottle, so mid dinner I had to run back to the hotel to feed him.

Kevin with some of his high school buddies.

Our hotel was directly across the street from the Alamo.

Friday morning we went to the Pioneer Flour Mill for breakfast.  I had a "typical" Texas breakfast, biscuits and gravy, which I normally would never order, but were actually very delicious.  Wyatt gave it a thumbs up too and anytime I can get him to eat is a bonus.Walking around the mill and museum were fun for everyone.

That afternoon Luke and I stayed behind at the hotel to nap while everyone else went out on a river boat tour.  What are they looking at?

Cruising along the river...

We made time for the pool at the hotel too.

Saturday family activity at the Big Boy Burger Barn.

Meeting some friends at the historically famous Menger Bar where Teddy Roosevelt formed the Rough Riders.

Meeting at the Saturday venue Pat Obriens.

Kevin wanted this picture with the boys in front of the Alamo so bad, we were actually on our way out of town when he stopped in the middle of the road, grabbed the boys and ran out to get a picture.  I'm glad he did, they look great.

Cheese, let's head home.  See you next time Texas.

Take Me Out...

We were able to go to a Padres game a few Saturdays ago, it was such a fun night.  We had nice seats overlooking the outfield.  Wyatt was really into the game, it's fun to see him become more interested in things.  Right now "ball" is one of his favorites, this includes baseball, soccer, football, or golf.

Here's a quick video of Wyatt reading to Luke the other day.  He is so cute with him, I tried to film them secretly because I feel like once he sees me, it's not the same.  I love how he tries to get Luke to really pay attention to what he is saying.
