Mimi and Tia Stay To Play

Mimi and Tia decided to extend their trip after Palm Springs and stay in San Diego for a week.  It was nice to have them here to spend so much time with Wyatt, since I have been terribly sick during this pregnancy.
We took Wyatt to get his second professional haircut.  He lasted a bit longer before he started crying this time, 5 minutes!

Time at the San Diego Zoo.

While Mimi and Tia babysat Wyatt for a weekend, Kevin and I went with Monica and her boyfriend Joel to Palm Springs to celebrate her birthday.
We rented this great house for the weekend, best part, the pool and hot tub.

This trip we decided to take the tram in Palm Springs up to the highest point in Southern California, about 8,000 ft.  Which meant even though it was 90F at the house, it was 50F at the top of the mountain right before sunset.  It was breathtaking.

After the amazing sunset views we headed downtown to Chop House, a steakhouse, to celebrate Monica's birthday.  It was such a fantastic night and weekend.

Jolly Family Reunion

It has taken forever for me to post, but with the help of Kevin, I finally got the pictures loaded up. A week after we went to the beach house with my family, we went to Palm Springs with Kevin's for a week. What a great couple of weeks!
There was lots of pool time during our trip.

We also took a trip to the Living Desert, Palm Springs version of a zoo.  Wyatt loved all the statues.

We even got to feed a giraffe.  Wyatt was a little nervous, who could blame him with him with those lips.

He was very good at combing the goats too.

The boys played on the golf course lawn outside of the rooms.  Wyatt loved couting down and running up and down the hill.

The guys out for a walk.

The hotel had a gondola ride around the lake surrounding the property.  I think Wyatt actually liked the life jacket more than the boat ride.

One of our daily walks to check out the ducks, swans, and geese.

One night we went to Kobe a teppanyaki restaurant, Caden was fascinated with the fire, Wyatt was not, as you can tell from their faces.

It's a boy!

We just found out today that we are having another little boy. I'm sure Wyatt will be thrilled once he realizes he is going to have his own baby brother around the house soon (if you know him, you know how much he is in awe of babies). We are so excited and can't wait for April Fools Day when he is due.

Kelvington Family Reunion

My side of the family took a week long vacation to Capistrano Beach.  My parents were so kind in renting a beach house for the week for the family.  It was a full house with our family, Andy, Jamie, Sammy, and Reese, and Kim, and Cooper, and of course Mom and Dad.  We had such a fun, relaxing vacation, it was hard to get back to the normal everyday routine today.
Grandpa, Cooper, and Wyatt playing out on the patio.

Both Sammy and Wyatt trying to race each other up the steps.

Andy did some daily boogie boarding, he got pretty banged up a few times by the rocky beach.

Nana hanging out with Wyatt and Reese.  All the kids were jealous when Nana was holding someone else.  Wyatt would take matters into his own hands and just squeeze his way up on to her lap.

Sammy and Reese.

Who could ask for more...a beautiful sunset and dump trucks on the beach.

Wyatt loved baby Reese, he constantly wanted to hold her when she was around.  He was so gentle and cute with her.

The kids had daily tea parties on the beach.

We visited the beautiful mission in San Juan Capistrano.  The mission is known for the swallows that come and nest there, I looked and looked, and finally saw one nest.

The crew hanging out on the mission grounds.

We took a day trip to Disneyland.  Cooper loved the chipmunks.  What you can't see in this photo is Wyatt and me running away.  We were stationed on the right side of the character for a family photo op until Wyatt snapped and started beating the crap out of the poor chipmunk.  He is a fighter when he's scared.  So I high tailed it out of there with him and Cooper enjoyed the chipmunk all to himself.

Wyatt and Daddy pulling the sword from the stone.  Our next king is...

Wyatt loved getting into every car around Disneyland.  Here we are outside of Mr. Toads.

Best picture of the day.  I think Grandpa will sleep well tonight.

It's a Small World!

The Jolly family hanging out in Toon Town.

One day we went to this awesome playground up the hill from the beach.  What a view!

Wyatt taking a beach break.

While the kids napped, Kim and I built a sand castle.

"Horse" back riding in downtown San Juan Capistrano.

Nana taking the kids on towel rides.

Sammy and Wyatt finally take a Yo Gabba Gabba break.

The nightly fires were awesome, especially the smores.

Getting a little too close for comfort on the San Clemente pier.

Ya Daddy, I love riding on your shoulders!

Everyone made it to the pier for a walk and picture.

On our last night at the house, Kevin and I went back to Disneyland at night by ourselves.  We had a great time on a few rides and enjoying the fireworks.

Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful vacation!

Labor Day Weekend

We started off the weekend by making brownies... can you tell Wyatt liked them?

On Saturday we stopped by the zoo for a few hours.  We all spent some time watching the monkeys.

On Monday we made a trip over to Coronado Beach.

It was a great weekend for the whole family.
