Celebrating New Years Eve

Wyatt and Daddy spent New Year's Eve day at little Geneva's first birthday party.  Whatever they were looking at, it must have been interesting.

Yummy Elmo cupcake.

It must have been a fun party, he passed out.
That night we celebrated the New Year with Papa.

While Papa babysat, Kevin and I went out for a New Year's Eve dinner.  We love ourselves some fondue.

Boys Day At The Bay

Wyatt, Kevin, and Papa all took time to go down to see Texas at the Big Bay Balloon Parade this year.
Staking out a spot to see the balloons.

Go Longhorns!

Wyatt's favorite balloon was Mightly Mouse.

I'm not sure if that's a yawn from a long day, or blowing a kiss to the camera.  Whatever it is, they had a great time.

Dallas For Christmas

Wyatt and I headed to Dallas a week before Kevin was able to join us.  We were able to hangout with Mimi, Tia, Aunt Laura, Uncle Brian, and little Caden.
Here are the boys at the Dallas Arboretum wearing their awesome Christmas shirts Laura embroidered.

Taking a walk with Mimi.

Mr. Peek-a-boo.

Mimi took us over to the mall to look at the model trains.  Wyatt loved this.

I was able to sneek away one morning and visit the Dallas temple, it was beautiful.

Spending time with Laura, Mimi, Caden, and Brian at the park.

Daddy arrives and Wyatt gets to celebrate his birthday with another party, this time Elmo themed.

The boys spent a lot of time outdoors, even though it was freezing!

By the end of the week, this poor horse had its last bounce, the spring finally broke.

Cruising on his new birthday truck thanks to Greg and Robyn.

Visiting the Nature and Science Museum.  They had an awesome kids floor.

Wyatt milking a cow at the museum.

Riding his "tractor" around the farm section of the museum.

One night Brian got Dallas Stars hockey tickets for Laura, Kevin, and I.  It was a blast.

Visiting the Frontiers of Flight Museum.  Wyatt is really taking after Mommy here and cheezing it.

The boys next to the moon landing vessel.

We all take a trip to the zoo.

Wyatt taking a "pony" ride.  This was the largest pony I have ever seen.  He had an alright ride at first, but much like everything he was over it pretty quick, by the time the pony rounded the corner he was giving the "all done" sign.

Giving some love to a baby elephant.

We got very close to the giraffes.

Mommy and Daddy getting ready to go to Greg Booth's holiday Christmas party.

Roosevelt High School Reunion, aka Greg's party.

Christmas Eve pjs.

Wyatt hamming it up for the camera.

Opening presents Christmas morning, Caden was much more subdued than Wyatt.

Both boys loved the shopping cart Mimi and Tia got Caden for Christmas.

I think Wyatt opened all of Kevin's, mine, and his presents within 30 minutes. He loved tearing through the wrappers.

Later that night wrestling with uncle Brian.

New Tradition and Wyatt's Birthday Party

I decided to start a new tradition this year, making a Christmas chain. It's a chain of small gifts counting down to Christmas, everyday Wyatt gets to open a present as we get closer and closer to Christmas day.  Now we just have lots of new bath toys, books, and small matchbox cars being played with everyday.
He loves this and every morning runs to the chain.  A couple of times he has tricked Kevin and I and both of us separately have let him open two presents in one day, little stinker.

Oh I think it might be a book.

Daddy helping Wyatt open Nana and Papa's gift on his birthday.  Thanks for the nice warm clothes!

He jumped on the clothes and rolled around.

His birthday was on Friday so we decided to celebrate with a party on Saturday afternoon.  I think Kevin and I thought we were superheros or something, we had just moved in the weekend before and trying to get ready for a party full of kids with crap everywhere was crazy.  Here we are Saturday morning decorating the train cake.  Wyatt mostly just licked the frosting from the tubs.

Time to play with all the toys.

Some friends hanging out in the backyard until it got too cold.

Blowing out the candles.  In the past few weeks Wyatt has gotten pretty good, although he did need some help.

Wyatt's first and only bite of cake for the day.  He does not eat!  What kind of kid do you have to force to eat cake.  No eating for him when there is too many toys and people to see.

Later we went outside for some bubble time, always a big hit.

Thanks to some friends from Kevin's work Wyatt got a new work truck.

So many presents, so little time.

The next morning he immediately woke up and grabbed his balloons.  He wouldn't let them go all morning.

Papa gets back from Dallas on Sunday and comes over for one last celebration.

New House

Here are a few pictures of our new place.  We love it, mostly all the space, it's so nice to have more than one bathroom, especially since Wyatt is starting some training.  The move was really the most exhausting week of my life, but with the help of my parents we got it done and I'm happy we're in a place we can grow as my belly gets bigger and bigger every day.

My favorite place.  Oh how I love a nice tub.

My other favorite place, the backyard is heaven.

Looking For Christmas

I came across this video needing some spiritual uplifting this morning. I think it did the trick. Wise Men Still Seek Him.
