Father's Day & Birthday Weekend

Kevin with Wyatt, Father's Day morning. Look what Wyatt got his daddy, lots of different kinds of hot sauce for work.
Later in the day we went with James to the Cabrillo Lighthouse.
Lots of beautiful views up there.
My birthday was on Monday, Kevin had to work, but Wyatt and I went to Sea World. We saw them "exercising" the flamingos. Here's a picture of Wyatt in the new "River" exhibit. This exhibit area used to be for the manatees, which I love, but sadly they have all been moved to the Flordia Sea World.
We caught the new show "Blue Horizons", I loved it. There were high flying divers and acrobats, with whales, exotic birds, and dolphins, it was really awesome.
For dinner I wanted to go to Tio Leos, yum...fried icecream.

Em's Bachelorette Party, Take Two

Since we couldn't all get together as originally planned, due to a freakin tornado, we decided to do it again! Emily made a quick trip out to SD for the weekend. We had lots of fun, got lots of sun, and with all the food, I think I gained a ton! Thanks for making the trip Em, we love you, and can't wait for the wedding.

Padres & Big Boy Teeth-June 11-13

Wyatt eating a nectarine before the game. As long as the fruit is not too sweet and a little bit sour, he loves it! What a funny kid, his taste buds take after his dad's.
When we first got to the game. Like a genius I thought it would be great to put him in his flannel pjs, since he never gets to wear them, but when we got there it was so hot! I had to unzip the jammies and tie the sleeves around the waist, poor little guy.

Saturday was Fiesta Con Los Padres night, yes mariachis!

The three boys later in the evening...wow what a smart mom, he's so bundled up when it's cold out.
Brushing Wyatt's teeth for the first time, he's not sure what to think. Who knew you had to brush babies teeth?

Wyatt's Mom, our Kelly, the Heroine

Kevin wanted me to put this post in, he's so proud of me! I was off looking for shoes for an upcoming wedding and Wyatt and I were cruising through the DSW parking lot when we witnessed a hit and run by a bunch of young boys. The car crazily tried to pull into a parking space Wyatt and I were walking through to cross the lot. They were going so fast before they could get into the space they smashed into the back of a BMW SUV. They looked up at me and started laughing, then the driver put it in reverse and they just took off. I was in shock, luckily I took down their license plate number. I called the cops and reported the car, left a note on the BMW stating I reported the accident to the police, and Wyatt and I went on our way...this time wearing a cape, off to save the day!

SeaWorld Again-June 5

Sunday Wyatt and I got up early to go see the marathon runners, I love watching that kind of thing, its so motivating, as you can see Wyatt loved it too! It was the Rock and Roll marathon where they have a band playing at every mile marker, we were parked right next to the cool little laid back guy doing Jack Johnson and Red Hot Chili Pepper covers, he was digging it.
Saturday night we went out to dinner at our neighborhood restaurant Bankers Hill. Wyatt loves cantaloupe.
We hit SeaWorld again on Saturday, this time with Kevin. I had to ride the coaster Journey to Atlantis this time, since someone was there to watch the little guy. Man do I love me a coaster.
Kevin and Wyatt at the Shamu holding tank. Notice the baby Shamu in the background, so cute.

Memorial Day Weekend & More-May 28-31

What a weekend full of fun in the sun...finally I think the sun is here to stay. Memorial Day in Old Town was a blast, we tried a new place Cafe New Orleans, it was delicious, I ordered the red beans and rice and Kevin had some jambalaya. Wyatt had his first taste of beans, he loved them too.
Our friend gave Wyatt these hilarious jean diapers, they are so cute, what a little "Wrangler"!

This weekend we did some swinging, Wyatt's first...as you can see from the picture he was not ready to get out of there. As I got more confidence in pushing him a little harder, he held on for dear life with a death grip, that kid was not scared.

Out to dinner at a new place near our house, Barrio Star. Love Wyatt's new clip on high chair, works great so he can sit at the table with us.

Saturday at the beach, we love the pop up sun tent.

Kevin takes out that old yucky garbage disposal and I paint the cabinet and put vinyl tiles down. It looks great, so much more storage in the kitchen now. Everytime we do a project we ask ourselves "why didn't we do this sooner". Hard work really does pay off!

Finished space, we just added a rolling cart in there and this weekend Kevin is ready to put a door on.

Wild Weekend-May 22-23

This past weekend was full of adventure. We decided a few weeks ago that our queen size bed was just too small, lately Bella has taken to sleeping horizontally. We had our king bed stored at Kevin's dad's house and decided to make the switch. Kevin rented a cargo van and we moved the queen bed to Kevin's dad's and the king to ours. That one hour of moving reminded me just how much I hate moving! But oh how comfy that giant king bed is, loving it.

We also went to the Wild Animal Park with Wyatt for the first time.

Wyatt, dressed in camo as a bear cub and me by some beautiful wildflowers at the Wild Animal Park.
Kevin hanging out with "our little baby bird".

At first I thought this lion was a fake, but we soon realized he was real, just hanging out on the top of this prop SUV for some sun...maybe Bella is related.
