Great Weekends - No Camera
We had some more great weekends during our busy stretch continuing from late July-early Aug, but unfortunately no photos. On July 25th, I headed up to LA and had a great evening catching up with Gregor, Silky, Rapps, Betsy, Faber, Sandra, Chilltown, and Hollywood.
The next weekend my brother came to town and we had a great time hanging out, enjoying a Padres game on Fri night.
Finally the weekend of Aug 8th Kelly and I went out with Jamie & Justin, along with Danny & Ed who moved back to SD from Italy. Finished that weekend picking up a new camera and camcorder so we will back in business soon.

Washington DC July 15-19 - Chris/Bronwyn Wedding
Our DC trip was actually in mid-July so I have fallen behind on my updates. It was a wonderful time in our nation's capital. We spent our first couple nights in Georgetown and my mom and aunt came down to join us for some sightseeing. The Holocaust museum was powerful, and then walking the mall and seeing the monuments is always incredible.
After a couple days we moved over to the wedding hotel across the river. On Sat morning, Kelly and I went to Arlington Cemetery which we both agreed was the most overwhelming and inspirational place on the trip. We saw the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown, as well as seeing graves from the earliest American wars, all the way up to soldiers killed this year in Iraq and Afghanistan.
That Sat July 18th was the wedding and they were married in St Patrick's church, which is the oldest parish in DC, founded in 1794. Then the reception was back near the hotel and it was a great time with some very good friends at our own Journey table. Unfortunately our camera broke before the wedding/reception so Chris/Bronwyn/Mickey/Mark/Earnest/Greg/Robyn, I am sorry but we have no pictures to include, but great to see all of you.
