The Summer is Flying By

It seems like this summer has flown by, just getting organized in a new house and figuring out where everything needed for life is, like the grocery store, takes a toll.  I'm happy to say we finally feel settled.  Wyatt started a summer camp at the preschool he will be attending next month.  Each week they have a different theme, I think he has especially enjoyed this week's theme, "The Enchanted Kingdom", he has learned all about Castles, Dragons, and Kings and Queens and his favorite, knights in shining armor.  Yesterday when I picked him up he was dressed in a grey felt suite head to toe, so proud of his shining armor!  He also has been playing dress up quite a bit at home, it's so cute that Luke wants to get involved too, he really doesn't go for a costume, but loves to put on the spider hat.

Kevin took the boys to the Wild Animal Park while I enjoyed a morning at the spa, thanks Monica for the great birthday present!

The talking zebra, a favorite of Wyatts.

My mom and Kim and nephew Cooper were able to come for a visit at the end of July, we had  so much fun.  It's nice watching the boys play well together the older they get, they really enjoy each other's company.  I just wish we could get together more often.
Playtime at the park near our house.

Luke loves to go down the tube slide on his belly.

Waiting at the Poway train station to get a ride from the Speeder Train.

Riding caboose!

Luke running wild as usual.

The boys watching the train cross the park.

SeaWorld rides and fun.  Since the kids really won't sit through a show they tend to love the kiddie rides and the animal exhibits they can watch through the glass.

The boys waiting to see a dolphin, Luke is more interested in the steps.

Dolphin lookout once again.

We could not get these two rascals to look at the camera.

Wyatt loved the theater show Madagascar.

Luke, not so much, he lasted 5 minutes, I took him outside to run around and explore.

Shark tunnel.

Cooper eating Shamu, which he thought was awesome.

Cooper was really fascinated by Shamu just swimming around.

We spent the rest of their visit at the beach and pool, what a great stay, come back again soon.
