Family Reunion Kelvington Style

This past week we took a family trip to Sedona AZ.  My mom, dad, me, Kevin, Wyatt, Andy, Jamie, Sammy, Kim, Garrett, and Cooper all shacked up in a beautiful home my parents rented for the week.  We had lots of laughs, did lots of hiking, and lots of hanging out by the pool and hot tub.  Even though there were sporadic thunderstorms throughout the trip, overall the weather was gorgeous, and we had a blast.

Here is Wyatt cruising in his little float, which he could not get enough of.  The infinity pool at the house dropped off to an awesome view of the red rocks and part of the town.

Our little diaper buddies just playing poolside.

We visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross which had a beautiful view.

The first hike we did was called Broken Arrow.  Both Sammy and Wyatt loved it!  Here Jamie, Andy, and Sammy are standing in front of a sink hole.

We all made it, even baby Cooper!

In the afternoon after we went hiking all morning we would hit the pool, here Kev is enjoying the beautiful pool in his Lazy-Boy.

We decided to take a late afternoon hike through Soldiers Pass, which sounded like a good idea, but in hindsight wasn't.  The sky was getting dark and the clouds were rolling in ready to dump on us.

This picture was taken right before we got dumped on, poor little Wyatt was in the first storm of his life.  Kevin and I felt so awful and couldn't believe we were so stupid and put him through that.

Thankfully he forgave his idiotic parents and later on back at the house was having fun while Sammy pushed him around in his car.

One day we hiked to Cathedral Rock, which is one of the most photographed places in Arizona.  Kevin was a little disappointed because the river was flooded and we couldn't actually get to the end of the hike, but it was gorgeous nonetheless.

One evening some of us went on a jeep tour, it was a great time.  Here we are a the top of the Mogollian Rim, 7000 ft.

The day before we left everyone took a trip to Jerome, a small mining town, that is now a bit of a ghost town, and a fun little tourist stop.

We ate burgers at The Haunted Hamburger.

The morning of the day we were leaving we did a beautiful hike called the West Fork, the foliage was changing for the fall.

It was such an amazing trip, thanks mom and dad!

New Car Joys

I LOVE LOVE LOVE our new car, but I do not love the whole buying a car process.  There really is a reason for the sterotype of used car salesman.  What an ordeal, but at the end of the day, literally I was at the dealers all day, we walked away with a beautiful 2007 4Runner with everything we wanted, including a sunroof!  We felt like we got a fair deal after all the "dickering", thanks Mom for the skills!

Waking Up Ornery

Wyatt has such a strong will power, once he decides on something, his mind is made up, that goes for his mood too.  He decided to wake up ornery from a nap, here is a little video of him trying to stay mad while he is eating his lunch and listening to his favorite showtunes.  He cracks me up.

Mimi Visits

Last week Kevin's mom, "Mimi" came out to stay for a few days.  We did all the tourist things someone might want to do in San Diego, including heading up to Cabrillo Lighthouse, taking a "Seal Tour", land and sea tour, visiting the local farmers market, and while Mimi babysat Kev and I enjoyed a couple nights away.

Here's Kevin and Wyatt at the top of Cabrillo National Monument.  "I'm the King of the World!"

Mimi and Wyatt looking for whales.
The little guy is about ready to walk!

 Saturday morning farmer's market.

Off for the tour...these fat, lazy guys reminded us so much of Bella.

I love Wyatt in this picture, he looks huge on Kevin's chest.  I can't even carry him in that holder anymore, he is way too heavy for me!

Just chilling, hair blowin in the wind, looking cool, don't mind my pink pacifier.

On Saturday night, Kevin and I stayed at the Hard Rock and went for sushi at Nobu, so delicious.

The next night we went on a dinner cruise around the harbor, it was such a beautiful night, we danced, and ate, and had a blast.

Cousin Caden Makes A Visit

Look at the two little guys, or should I say big.  These jammies were meant for Christmas, but both are about to outgrow them already!

Laura, Caden, Wyatt, and me hanging out at the fountain in Balboa park.  It was such a hot day I let Wyatt dip his feet in the cold water, he loved it.

Time for reflection...

Already planning on ways to cause trouble!

I loved having Caden around, he's such a little cuddlebug.  Wyatt won't let me cuddle with him unless he is DEAD tired and injured.
All the boys getting ready for the Texas game.  Wyatt can't look at the camera because he is too worried about Daddy in a hat like his.

This picture is a good indication of what his plans are everyday.  Hum, I think I'll get up and get into every possible nook and cranny I can find and if I'm lucky I may even get stuck.
