Family Reunion Kelvington Style

This past week we took a family trip to Sedona AZ.  My mom, dad, me, Kevin, Wyatt, Andy, Jamie, Sammy, Kim, Garrett, and Cooper all shacked up in a beautiful home my parents rented for the week.  We had lots of laughs, did lots of hiking, and lots of hanging out by the pool and hot tub.  Even though there were sporadic thunderstorms throughout the trip, overall the weather was gorgeous, and we had a blast.

Here is Wyatt cruising in his little float, which he could not get enough of.  The infinity pool at the house dropped off to an awesome view of the red rocks and part of the town.

Our little diaper buddies just playing poolside.

We visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross which had a beautiful view.

The first hike we did was called Broken Arrow.  Both Sammy and Wyatt loved it!  Here Jamie, Andy, and Sammy are standing in front of a sink hole.

We all made it, even baby Cooper!

In the afternoon after we went hiking all morning we would hit the pool, here Kev is enjoying the beautiful pool in his Lazy-Boy.

We decided to take a late afternoon hike through Soldiers Pass, which sounded like a good idea, but in hindsight wasn't.  The sky was getting dark and the clouds were rolling in ready to dump on us.

This picture was taken right before we got dumped on, poor little Wyatt was in the first storm of his life.  Kevin and I felt so awful and couldn't believe we were so stupid and put him through that.

Thankfully he forgave his idiotic parents and later on back at the house was having fun while Sammy pushed him around in his car.

One day we hiked to Cathedral Rock, which is one of the most photographed places in Arizona.  Kevin was a little disappointed because the river was flooded and we couldn't actually get to the end of the hike, but it was gorgeous nonetheless.

One evening some of us went on a jeep tour, it was a great time.  Here we are a the top of the Mogollian Rim, 7000 ft.

The day before we left everyone took a trip to Jerome, a small mining town, that is now a bit of a ghost town, and a fun little tourist stop.

We ate burgers at The Haunted Hamburger.

The morning of the day we were leaving we did a beautiful hike called the West Fork, the foliage was changing for the fall.

It was such an amazing trip, thanks mom and dad!
