Time For December Celebrations

Luke is crawling...

We drove to the temple on a Sunday night to check out the Christmas lights, it was beautiful, but cold and rainy.

Wyatt always loves the nativity.  I loved how they decorated the palm trees.

We also took in December nights in Balboa park.  I love the jammies Luke is wearing, Wyatt wore the same ones, when he was just a year old.  It was pretty cold, but we enjoyed walking around checking out the nativity, Santa, lights, carnival, and ate some delicious Indian food from the house of India.

Luke licking the whipped cream off my hot chocolate.

Wyatt opening birthday presents on his birthday.

Getting ready to blow out his candles.

Mimi and Tia came to visit for the holidays, of course we started off with a trip to the zoo.  Oh no a little bear escaped.

Elmo balloon, getting ready for Wyatt's party.

We had a barnyard boogie bouncing bash BBQ for Wyatt's party.  The bouncer was a good time, I think the adults enjoyed it as much as the kids, well at least Monica and I did.

Wyatt his tractor shirt made by Aunt Laura, too bad he did not want me to take a picture of it!

Having fun playing with toys from friends.

Luke loved the farmer hat party favors, not to wear, just to eat.

Unfortunately Wyatt did not want his picture taken any more, so here's out happy, little, Luke.

We ventured out into the cold one night to go down to the bay to watch the parade of lights with the boats, but apparently we were an hour early, so we decided to head over to SeaPort Village and enjoy the festivities there.

Thanksgiving In Utah

We spent the holiday with family in Utah this year.  It was nice to see all the cousins and their kids.
The fist day we were there we went for a hike in Zions, it was unseasonally warm and very enjoyable.

Walking under the waterfall at Emerald Pools.

My little monkey.

What a beautiful fall day.

Riding the choo choo at the Christmas Festival.

Two little baldy cousins.

Family fun for everyone.

Not sure what Wyatt is up to here, but it's very cute.  Maybe he's saying "mom, this slide is iffy."

When we went to the bounce house, Wyatt wanted to keep up with the girls, he loved following Abby and Nora around.

After we returned home, we set up Christmas, I love decorating the house for Christmas, it just puts me in the holiday mood.  This is the first year Wyatt has helped with the tree.  It was so funny to see him go through the ornaments and choose the ones he likes and where they should go, it seems like most of them ended up on the bottom two branches.  He loved the little meerkat we got in Palm Springs.

At Nana's house he fell in love with a Jack-In-The-Box, so it was only appropriate that he decided to use the ornament box as a Jack-In-The-Box for himself.

He was so funny with the Nutcrackers.  He asked what they were and when I told him, he said,"Oh, I see".  Then he ran off and came back with a cracker and stuck it in his mouth, so cute.

All the nutcrackers, got crackers to eat.
