Kelvington Family Comes For A Short Visit

My mom, dad, and brother Andy all came to town last Friday night for a short weekend visit.  We were able to attend the temple together for the first time.  I'm so grateful for my family and all their support and I'm grateful for my Heavenly Father and all the blessings he has given me.

We decided to all head over to Coronado for some breakfast and beach time.

Wyatt had fun just walking the beach and exploring.

Sunday afternoon Kevin was able to attend the Trevor Hoffman tribute game.  He sent me a picture of him and Grant chowing down on some Tubby's cotton candy...hum I know that wasn't Grant's idea.

Baby News

We are happy to announce this week that we will have a new little Jolly entering the world sometime in late March. Kevin and I are thrilled, and as for Wyatt he is not too sure what all the hype is about. I'm sure he'll be excited once the little one arrives!

Nana Visits

My mom decided to come down to San Diego for a few days.  On this trip Wyatt took to calling her "Nana", so there it is Grandma Dana's new name.  It  was a busy couple of days.  Friday night we headed over to Kensington, a neighborhood we love and have been looking to move to, Wyatt played on the jungle gym and after we went to dinner at a nearby cafe.
Our little strong man.

Saturday morning was off to the farmer's market in Little Italy.  Looking for some good food.

Nana and Wyatt checking out the pirate in SeaPort Village.

Taking a Seal Tour with Nana, and our friends Connie and Kathy, unfortunately they had to sit a few rows behind us, it was a busy day!

After church on Sunday we walked through Coronado, down by the Hotel Del...

and along the beach...

and through the shops, stopping to check out all the water fountains.

Last day with Nana, better hit the zoo.  Wyatt loved putting his head through these cut-outs.  It was like a game of peek-a-boo.

The goats in the petting zoo were fighting, awesome to watch, but not so fun for the kids wanting to pet and play with them.

Wyatt getting some feeding time in with the goats.

Here he is climbing all over the logs in the petting zoo.

Hanging out on the hippo.

Kissing the baby elephant.  I swear he loves these statues more than looking at the actual live animal.

Finally before Nana had to leave, she got to take Wyatt on the train in Balboa Park.  You wouldn't be able to tell by the expression on his face here, but this is actually one of his favorite activities.

Preparing For The Temple

I made the decision awhile ago to enter the temple.  I'm excited that I will be making promises with my Heavenly Father that will help me navigate this life and the hereafter.  I'm excited what this can mean for our family being one step closer to spending eternity together.  As I've been preparing to attend the temple, I've been studying the Book Of Mormon more thoroughly.  I'm grateful for its message and the promise it brings to all who read with a sincere heart.  I love this little message the Church put out.
