Sign Language Skills

Wyatt has gotten really good at signing when he wants milk, the only problem is he uses that sign for every time he wants to eat!  So now we are working on the signs for eat and more...and still waiting for him to say his first word.

Once Again...Disneyland

When Wyatt and I go to Disneyland its usually just for about 3-4 hours on a Tuesday or Wednesday.  We have been lucky enough that the crowds are non-existent, even though we rarely ride on more than 2 or 3 rides; it's nice to have the place to ourselves.  Our own little playground that totally wears him out, just what a mommy wants.

Here he is hanging out in Goofy's house in Toon Town, he loves this area.

Exactly one year before, he's only 2 months old here, hilarious, he has gotten so big and has changed in so many ways, but he still has that serious stare like he's saying "Hey lady, what do you want with me?"

Okay back to Toon Town in the garden patch playground.

Our little strong man was getting so frustrated with these dumbbells, he wanted to move them so bad.

Here he is playing at Yosemite Park area in California Adventures, he did this for a good 30 minutes.
Coming out the other end, he would sometimes forget he was out in the open and would continue to crawl.

An attempt at family pictures

We went up to Balboa Park to have Monica take some family pictures of us.  We seriously have no family photos of us where we are all looking at the camera.  Well and so it begins....
Here we are trying to lock him down, all he wanted to do was run.

Same story, different location.

Finally he's looking, but the lengths Monica had to go through to get him to look were ridiculous, so here he  is looking at her like she is ridiculous.

Better, but we're not there yet!

Finally I think we have somewhat of a winner!  Everyone is looking and looks pleasant, now let's quit before it becomes unpleasant.

Military Air Show

On the 12th we rode our bikes down to the bay to watch the Military Air Show to celebrate the centennial.  We stayed for about an hour and saw all kinds of aircraft, it was really cool.
Two choppers being fueled in air.

Coat Guard helicopter

Hanging with Daddy waiting for some aircraft.

Wyatt tried to climb this tree by himself!  I finally picked him up and set him on a branch, he was in heaven.

It was such a warm day on our way home we decided to stop for frozen yogurt.

Palm Springs

We were able to enjoy a fabulous week in Palm Springs last week, thanks to Carlee and Kathleen, and their timeshare!  Thank you for the wonderful family time and the lasting memories.

Every morning we would walk the golf course and look for the ducks, Wyatt you're looking the wrong way!

It was really cold one day, like 55F, burr, we visited The Living Zoo that day.  Wyatt loved the goats, we had to hold him back from strangling them, like he does Bella!

Here he is in a "nest".  His own private little play place, just like he likes.

Here we are looking for the ostrich and giraffes.

There the giraffes are, now we'll never get him to look at the camera.

Ok, never say never, Daddy got him to look, eventhough as you can tell he's not happy.

Wyatt was obsessed with the model trains at the zoo, I have to admit I was a bit too, they were pretty elaborate.

Hilarious, Kevin rode a camel at the zoo.  There was no way I was getting on that guy, I have seen way too many America's Funniest Home Video episodes.

Wyatt and I both loved this giant tub at the hotel.

Several fun days at the pool once the weather warmed up.

Wyatt loved these giant chess and checker sets out by the pool, we loved them too, because they entertained him every day!

Eating snacks by the pool.

A beautiful sunset from our room.

Day In La Jolla

At the end of January we headed to La Jolla to look at the seals and to play at the park.  We had a great time doing both!  Below is a picture of us above the seals, as you can tell, Wyatt did not want to face the camera he was more interested in watching the seals!

Here is our little guy in action on the field, not really trying to play with the other kids, but definately trying to take all their balls.  One is never enough for Wyatt.
