Per usual I'm way behind on the blog, but here's my monthly post...
Two of the days the boys' cousins were here we went to Disneyland and California Adventures. The weather was nice and the kids had a blast, no surprises there!
The "big boys" riding up front by themselves on Radiator Racers. They were so proud of themselves for being so brave.
Brian and Laura experiencing an adults only ride, Screamin.
We took a break in between days at Disney and enjoyed the beach.
Caden and Annabelle
Wild Things
I think all of them loved Small World, I mean who doesn't?
Lunch stop, Caden's using Laura's hat to stay out of the sun.
Keep your hands on the wheel Luke!
Hi Guys!
Luke got a little tired during the Frozen show, that's ok because I love to snuggle.
The boys
The rascals
We had lots of fun with them and can't wait until they visit again.
I've been wanting to do a little remodeling in the garage and have an actual laundry room so my clothes don't get dirty again just after I've washed them, I hate having the washer and dryer in the garage, but thanks to my Dad and his handy skills, I no longer hate it, it's actually nice to go out there and quietly do some laundry.
Here's Superman building a wall for me.
And here's Superwoman watching the boys while we try and work.
Here it is going up...
And here's the finished laundry side...
And here's the finished garage side. Cool right? I just need to switch out the light fixtures now and it will be all done.
Here's a pic from the bench "mudroom" project.
After my parents left, Mimi and Tia arrived. We took a quick trip to Palm Springs and just relaxed.
One day we went to the zoo and they all hopped on a camel.
Off they go, hold on Tia!
The boys even got to feed the giraffes.
Luke was so nervous his hand was trembling, brave little guy.
Speaking of brave, he climbed this rock wall at the hotel kids area. He's a nut, a brave little nut.
We visited the Carlsbad flower fields.
The boys mostly ran up and down the fields, I briefly caught them for a picture.
After we stopped at the strawberry patches to pick our own strawberries, yummy.
They were here to celebrate Luke's birthday a little early, we had a party at the house the Saturday before the third. It was a circus themed party and I think all the kids had a blast. Luke was so worn out he told me during the party that he needed to take a nap, so he went upstairs and fell asleep for about 15 minutes then came back down to enjoy the rest of his party, he's hilarious.
Lion cupcakes
Front door entrance, Kevin and I tried to drape fabric surrounding the front door to resemble a circus tent, but it was pretty much a disaster.
Party favors
The birthday boy, thanks Aunt Laura for the awesome shirt!
He requested a zebra face from the clown.
Feeding the elephant was a big hit.
Corn dogs, walking tacos, and cotton candy.
Wyatt had as much fun as Luke opening up his gifts.
Our little party pooper.
Luke is such a joy to be around, he's a ham and loves attention. He still loves to cuddle lots and gives slobbery kisses and giant monster hugs. He still hasn't gone number two in the potty yet, he's pretty good with number one, but not two. Hopefully soon buddy. When he's tired he puts himself to sleep as long as he has his precious "woobies". Also when he has woobies he sucks his thumb still, which I secretly find adoring. He's very brave and quite the climber. He'll also run off and doesn't care if anyone is coming with him or not, Mr. Independent. He speaks well and can articulate everything he wants and can be quite demanding when he feels like, but one of my favorite things he says is, "ok Mommy whatever you say." We love you Lukie, Happy Birthday!
