Grant & Robins Wedding Weekend-April 23-April 25

We had a really fun weekend participating in all of the activities for Grant and Robin's wedding. Lots of Kevin's friends were in town for the big event. And Carlee was here, which was great for everyone, because Wyatt got to spend some quality time with "Mimi" while Kevin and I hit the town. Unfortunately, we do not have pictures from the actual wedding because the camera broke the night before...oops! We went bowling on Thursday, then the Hard Rock and after to Basic on Friday. Kevin and I didn't want to walk the distance so we got a pedicab, hilarious. Then the wedding was on Saturday with the reception at Tom Ham's.

Wyatt Baby Blessing Weekend - April 16-18

Thanks to all the family and friends who attended Wyatt's blessing on April 17th. Kim and Garrett came early and we went to a Padres vs. Braves game. Garrett got us great seats, but as fate would have it, Wyatt was not pleased. They were the best tickets I never got to sit in. Andy, Jamie, and Sammy arrived later, they made a vacation weekend of it and stayed at the Hard Rock. My mom and dad came and my dad gave Wyatt a beautiful blessing, thanks Dad, that will be a special memory for us all. Grandma Jean and Grandpa Kay made the trip too, it was so good to see them here. Unfortunately Kevin broke the camera so I will post pictures for this entry later.

Kelly & Kevin's Excellent Hot Air Balloon Adventure - Apr 10

This is a view from the hot air balloon. You can see our landing spot just beyond the two ponds. We ended up doing a crash landing on the slope of that hill, so hilarious...until Kevin had to end up helping us to a road, which seemed a mile away. Nice birthday right?

Milestones-April 9

This little turkey actually slept through the night for the first time, last night, midnight to six am. I was just telling Kevin earlier in the week that Wyatt has been sleeping in five hour stretches, but as life goes, sometimes it's too good to be true. So on Wednesday night he gets up every couple of hours, talk about a wake up call, it was frustrating! Then just as I was coming to terms again with waking up multiple times in the night, on Thursday night he goes for a full six hours. He showed me what's up. I can only pray this continues.

The Garden Begins-April 9

A couple of days ago I noticed we were getting strawberries in our miniature potted garden out on the balcony. Well today I was looking out the window and saw these beautiful little gems growing...nothing tastes as good as homegrown tomatoes.

Easter Weekend

We had Grandpa James over for Easter dinner, luckily Wyatt was wearing his "Team Grandpa" gear.

Who doesn't like to see an actual bunny out and about on Easter? We went up to Balboa Park to walk around and we saw this adorable little guy hanging out on a leash.

First Beach Trip-March 28

Wyatt had his first official trip to the beach and loved it! He was so mellow, just chilling on the towel checking everything out. He is going to fit right in with this family.
