Happy Halloween

We have been having fun celebrating Halloween this year, making spooky treats, learning new Halloween songs, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins, and of course the grand finale trunk or treating and trick or treating!
Trying on their Monster Inc hats, tis the season.

A really hot kind of miserably hot day at a local pumpkin patch with Daddy.  We made the best of it though.

Wyatt carving his pumpkin, he did not want to remove the seeds and started to cry when I suggested he reach in and grab out the guts so we could eat them, ha ha.  He then requested a pirate pig pumpkin, way to go on the alliteration kid, good thing I didn't take a final picture, that thing was hideous.

We took a time out from the festivities and went to the zoo with friends one day.  Luke is loving elephants right now.

Now back with my little helper making delicious pumpkin bread.

At Wyatt's school they had this giant inflatable, every morning he would talk to "Jack", he'll be sad tomorrow when Jack is missing from his welcome spot.

Luke in his Sulley costume at our music class.
Trying to wrangle these rascals before we leave for the church for Spooky Spaghetti and trunk or treating on Saturday night.

The Wiz Family!

The boy scouts performed a thriller dance, it was awesome.

Our little cowardly lion.

Halloween day is finally here, time for a school parade.  "ROAR"
It's parade time.

Wyatt's preschool class.

Later in the afternoon we headed over to Kevin's work for some trick or treating around his office.  The boys loved going into Daddy's office and climbing all over the desk and chair.
Making the rounds.

Checking out the view with some other kids.

Destroying a conference room...

Then, back to work.

Trick or treating around the neighborhood.  We went for a little over an hour and it was a lot of fun.  There are a ton of kids out here!  The street below us was really decorated well, we even experienced a haunted house, what a fun neighborhood.  Our house didn't see much action though, by the time we got home a little after 7, we only had two kids, I guess nobody wants to walk up a big hill!  Now what to do with all the candy I bought, ugh.

Luke really had fun doing it too, "Trick, Treat" and he'd hold out his grubby paw.  This was probably right before he puked all over his monster suit and we had to remove it, so the rest of the night he just wore his hat.
Wyatt handing out candy to one little girl when we got home, he looks so tired.  Time for bed buddy.
