Two Kiddo-Free Vacations, Take One

Kevin and I were able to take a few trips, both very different.  First we waited for Mimi and Tia to arrive, then we made a break for the border, Cabo...here we come, off to Mickey and Erin's wedding!
When we arrived on Wednesday we came with hurricane Manuel, it was pouring some crazy rain(and if I figure out how to download videos from our camera to my new Chromebook, I'll post a video).  No worries though, because our room was awesome with an incredible view of the pool.

Man, I hope this clears up, it was scheduled to rain the entire time we were there.

Between the serious sheets of rain we decided to venture out for a walk on the beach, we got our pina coladas at the pool bar, which was shockingly open, and headed out to the beach...we made it 10 feet to a little hut before it really was coming down.  We waited about a half hour until it calmed down and headed back to our room.

Later that night, everything was drying out, time for dinner with my baby.

What an incredible sunset.

...and they just keep coming

...there it is again.

The rest of the time we were there it was just beautiful weather and so relaxing.  Did we rent out the whole resort, often it felt like it, all alone in my huge pool.

We loved this slide, especially when we both tried to go down together, does anyone remember the rockets at Disneyland?

Out to dinner at the resorts Italian restaurant, so delicious.

A nightly walk on the beach.

The wedding was held on Friday evening and it was such a serene setting.

Mickey and Erin, Congratulations!

It's party time at the reception in the hotel afterwards.

What a nice getaway very romantic, and relaxing.   Now rest up time to get ready for our next trip next weekend!

  1. The view from your room is beautiful, the sunsets are beautiful and you look beautiful with your hair tied back and in that brightly colored reception dress. You just look so happy with Kevin!
