On the 14th Wyatt fell at the farmer's market in Little Italy while running to the playground. He chipped his front left tooth, I was nervous because there was blood everywhere. It was also an extra nightmare because it was on a Saturday and I couldn't get a hold of any pediatric dentists. Finally I took him to Rady's Children Hospital. Hopefully his first and last trip to the emergency room! The nurse called in a pediatric dentist to look at him, and literally four hours later I was told there was nothing they could do there and set me up with a dentist on Monday. By now, both Wyatt and I were exhausted, Kevin happened to be in Philly that weekend so he missed all the action. We went home and crashed. Luckily after the initial accident, the little man didn't seem to be in pain, thank goodness. So Monday came and off to the dentist we went. He did NOT want anyone looking at his tooth now, especially after the hassle in the ER, he cried through the whole exam, good thing it only lasted 15 minutes. She told me the tooth could probably be saved, but she's not sure until she gets in there, it might have to be extracted. Our appointment was set for Thursday the 24th. Well just yesterday he was running in the house and tripped and fell and knocked his teeth again! He was bleeding a little, but not too bad. I was nervous again though because he seemed to be in so much pain, he wouldn't calm down all night. I got a hold of the dentist and she agreed to see him this morning. Well we went in and everything looks the same as it did earlier, so the same procedure is still on for Thursday. Hopefully this nightmare is over soon!
Here he is eating jello and loving it. You can see his poor little fractured tooth in this video.
We went to Legoland for the first time last Thursday. It was pretty cool. He especially liked this safari train ride, all the animals were made of Legos.
Playing in the park.
At first he was nervous about this guy hanging out on the bench, but then he didn't want to leave him.
Here his is on another train exploring a farm made of Legos.
